Certified AI Excellence Officer

One route, two competence profiles: you complete the Certified AI Manager programme and the Certified VbE Ambassador programme in a single pathway, work throughout with the ADA AI Ethics by Design Framework™ on your own initiative, and close with a full day of project presentation and examination preparation.

For whom: People who want both competence profiles in one go: AI managers, method leads, future Chief AI Officers.

Certified AI Manager

The operational entry into AI responsibility: understand AI initiatives, assess them, and lead them with the ADA Framework so that value and accountability stay demonstrable. Four modules from technical foundations through law, regulation and ethics to metrics and operations.

Scope: 32 teaching units · six live online sessions
For whom: Project and product leads, departmental management, teams introducing AI.

Competence profile P90

Certified VbE Ambassador

The methodological depth behind ADA: Valuebased Engineering to ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-7000:2022, from value elicitation through prioritisation to the traceable derivation of requirements. Alongside it, the foundations of the management system to ISO/IEC 42001.

Scope: 24 teaching units · live online format

Chief AI Ethics by Design Officer

The leadership programme for responsibility over an AI portfolio: from ideation through ACT, DESIGN and ALIGN to the AI strategy for 2030 and the executive pitch. Twelve modules in three stages, each stage closing at a Base Camp. Three ADA rounds of 120 guiding questions each lead from sprint depth through project depth to strategic depth.

For whom: Owners of AI portfolios, Chief AI Officers, executive management, risk and compliance leadership.

One day

AI Ideation Masterclass

The compact format for teams that need clarity quickly: a prioritised use-case brief, the stakeholder and value hypothesis, an honest reading of data and context maturity, and at the end the decision on the next step.

Scope: Four or eight hours · online or on site · best for four to twelve people
For whom: Teams at the start of an AI initiative, innovation and specialist departments.

Closed programme in house

Company cohort

The same method, tailored to one organisation: a closed group, your own use cases, one shared body of evidence across all participants. From the selection of initiatives through six training days along ACT, DESIGN and ALIGN to internal roles and accountabilities.

For whom: Organisations carrying responsibility for several AI initiatives at once.

Four hours

Project presentation and examination preparation

Four hours of project presentations in examination format, an open question round with me, and access to the online examination quiz. A completed Academy programme is the prerequisite.

Scope: Four hours · small group of no more than eight
For whom: Alumni of earlier Academy programmes on their way to external personnel certification.
Dates: 26 February 2027, 25 June 2027 and 17 December 2027, 09:00 to 13:00 each

Credentials

Academy credential or personnel certification?

The Academy programme here, independent personnel certification at Austrian Standards — cleanly separated, deliberately combinable.

The Valuebased AI Academy is an authorised education partner of Austrian Standards and is quality-audited against the Austrian Standards criteria catalogue. Every programme closes with an Academy certificate and a record of attendance stating scope and period.

Registration, examination fee, examination, assessment, the certification decision and the issuing of the personnel certificate all take place directly at Austrian Standards plus Certification as the accredited, independent certification body. Sophisticated Simplicity and the Valuebased AI Academy do not conduct the examination, do not decide the outcome and do not issue the personnel certificate.
