Every AI system distributes benefits and risks; the only question is to whom. Using a real project, I show how Valuebased Engineering to ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-7000:2022 makes those affected visible, elicits their values and derives verifiable requirements from them. The audience leaves with the question every AI project should answer on day one, the question my podcast CuiBono.ai is named after.

A checklist records what is prohibited. Values define what a system should achieve. I show how the ADA AI Ethics by Design Framework™ translates values into Ethical Value Requirements and how ISO/IEC 42001 turns them into AI governance that holds in everyday work. The audience leaves with a procedure a team is able to apply the next morning.
