I am the founder of Sophisticated Simplicity GmbH and valuebasedthinking.ai GmbH and the creator of goodsouls.AI and SophiA. My work joins empirical research with practical wisdom: I test methods on real projects before I teach them.
What drives me is a simple observation. AI system design is far more than introducing an automation technology. It is the designing of a personality, a character, an entity that will soon interact with us for several hours a day. Anyone who takes that seriously has to clarify beforehand what “good” means in that context.
I support women in technology and an environment in which different perspectives count. I teach algorithmic bias at an Austrian university and I speak on international stages.

2000 – 2020
25 years of translation work
Technology translated into business value, together with top-500 companies across Europe. My conviction comes from those years: technology is rarely the main problem, a missing grounding in values is.
2022
The standard is published
ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-7000:2022 sets out how values are carried into system requirements. I begin to translate the standard into a craft that teams are able to apply.
2023 – 2024
From paper into practice
The ADA AI Ethics by Design Framework™ takes shape: three phases ACT, DESIGN, ALIGN, twelve building blocks, three Base Camps. First certified training programmes together with Austrian Standards to ISO 17024.
2025
Constantinus Award
For the work on datahub Tirol I receive the Constantinus Award in the Ethics & CSR category — for stakeholder co-creation to Valuebased Engineering.
2026
goodsouls.AI and SophiA
The method becomes software. On goodsouls.AI, SophiA guides teams through the ADA sprint and documents every decision so that it stays traceable.
Stance
Value-based AI requires the courage to combine technology with the wisdom of the heart.
Three core values carry my work: courageous curiosity, antifragility and strong rope teams. On the mountain nobody walks alone, and the same holds in AI projects.
