A short form and an instant booking confirmation with payment details. Your seat stays reserved until payment arrives. Invoice and bank transfer, no card payment.
Who it is for
For people who apply Valuebased Engineering.
- 01Project leads who translate values into an AI system
- 02People who want to guide teams through Valuebased Engineering
- 03Compliance and ethics leads working on a concrete system
- 04Advisors with a use case of their own
What you bring
- An AI system or an initiative you will apply the method to.
- Willingness to make values concrete, not only to name them.
- Time for four days: 21, 22, 23 and 29 January 2027.
Why four days
Valuebased Engineering to ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-7000:2022 needs an initiative of your own, or the standard stays abstract. In four days, values become a result a second person can review.
This is the wrong room if you want to build the accountability of a Chief AI Officer. That is the diploma programme, and it already covers this content.
Content
After four days the system sits in requirements.
- You record stakeholder values so they can be reviewed.
- You name threats and the controls against them.
- You write requirements and system instructions that match.
- You see where the EU AI Act binds the initiative as well.
How it runs
32 teaching units over four days, 09:00–17:00 Vienna time, online: Thursday to Saturday, 21–23 January 2027, and Friday, 29 January 2027.
01
Module 1 · Values and stakeholders
Theme 1
You decide whose values belong in the AI system, and record them so others can review them.
Learning goals
- Name the stakeholders the system affects.
- Separate values from wishes.
- Start a value register for your own initiative.
Outcome: A value register for your initiative.
02
Module 2 · Threats and controls
Theme 2
You show where values come under pressure, and which control stands against that.
Learning goals
- State value harms as concrete threats.
- Map controls to the threats.
- Mark open conflicts between values.
Outcome: A threat and control list.
03
Module 3 · Requirements and system prompts
Theme 3
You turn the values into verifiable requirements and into instructions a system can follow.
Learning goals
- Turn values into verifiable requirements.
- Bind system prompts to those requirements.
- Set human gates where the system must not decide alone.
Outcome: Requirements and valuebased system instructions.
04
Module 4 · The EU AI Act in the initiative
29 Jan 2027
You set the requirements next to the duties of the EU AI Act and close the training initiative.
Learning goals
- Name the duties that apply to your initiative.
- Mark gaps between requirements and duties.
- Summarise the initiative so a second person can continue it.
Outcome: A closed ambassador initiative.
What you take away
- A value register for your initiative
- Threats, controls and human gates
- Verifiable requirements and system instructions
- The confirmation of attendance for the training requirement
