How the day runs

One day, 09:00–17:00 Vienna time, online, 8 teaching units. Morning for the use case, then the ADA pass, afternoon for the project brief.

   Module 1 · Sharpen the use case

   Morning

   You state your use case so the problem, the users and the benefit fit in one sentence.

   Learning goals

   • Separate the use case from a tool idea.
   • Name users and people affected.
   • Set a first measure of success.

   Outcome: A sharpened use case.

2. 02

   Module 2 · ADA pass

   Midday

   You walk the ADA method through the decisions the use case needs before anyone builds.

   Learning goals

   • Mark the values and the limits of the use case.
   • Name one human gate.
   • Make the open points visible.

   Outcome: The decisions the project brief has to carry.

3. 03

   Module 3 · Project brief

   Afternoon

   You finish the project brief: the brief, the benefit, the limit, the next step.

   Learning goals

   • Write the brief in the language of a decision maker.
   • Set benefit and limit side by side.
   • Decide the next step after the day.

   Outcome: A fully worked project brief.
